Hello and sorry the circumstances in which you are here. My annie is also large and in the A2 (post communicating) atery. I had my angio about two weeks ago and yes you can walk fine and it wasnt even painful for me. I was by the time the meds wore off, just sorness on my leg. I also have a clippsing scheduled in FEB for this annie. I know its scary and lotz of thoughts and what if's. Each annie is different as far as location, size, and individual risks, so for now try to stress(hard I know) wait until after angio and your doctor will let you know his recommendations. I had to be pit on xanax to control my panic and stress because high blood pressure is dangerous for the annie so keep your DR informed and try not to be to scared.:):)

Mine was on my middle cerebral artery. Not exactly sure where the anterior artery is?
PS- angios are much easier now that they have "plugs" for your artery afterward. I can walk pretty well, just tender for a few days! They also give you drugs to relax, I don't even remember my first angio :) Blessings, Keep us posted!
