My daughter is disabled. She was born with spina bifida. So she has loads of doc she has to see and supplies and meds she has to have. Right now because of the SSI she also receives medicade. Here's my delimea. There is a cap as to how much me and my husband can make a month or else they will completly cut her SSI which will cut her medicade (this has happened before when we made a little over the limit so I cut back on my hours at work). But we want to do better but we can't because of this cap. And trying to get private insurance for her will be hell. I tryed putting her on my group insurance at work but was told it would cost $600 a month. Unless I'm making super mega bucks per month this isn't a good idea. Are there any states that have different programs that help disabled children with med expenses? We live in Florida right now and my husband has a job interview in the morning but is hesitant to go because it will put us over the cap hence cancelling her insurance....sorry for the spelling errors
