pregnancy?

anyone going thru a pregnancy with a leak? or post leak?

i am 6 weeks pregnant and totally scared of how this will affect things. my leak has been manageable for several months now but i still have dizziness because it involved my inner ear.

Hey, I was pregnant thru my whole little girls pregnancy. It was hard to keep the pain under control with just tylenol but I managed. Oddly during the last months as I got bigger my leak got better. We suspect that the pressure of her on my spine slowed the leak a bit. As soon as she was born though if was back with a vengence. They put me under for the birth which was strange. I had my other little guy csection but they handed him to me right away. With her I was under then about 6 hrs later they handed me a baby. I was just like, umm okay I guess this is mine. So bonding was just a bit off. It happened of course, but the experience of bonding immediatly was very different. I had a baby (my little guy was 7 months when I got prego, not on purpose) so I had alot of running around to do, I just managed my pain as best I could. You should be fine. I had no complications other than being put under for the birth. Just take it as easy as you can. Let me know if you have any other things I havent thought of. Congrats!

Congratulations Christine!

In the time I have been a member of this forum, I have seen many posts by people who have carried 1 and even 2 babies while leaking. They all seem to have done fine, so don't worry! Hope some of them are still around so they can reassure you in person. Hope it all goes well for you - it is such a happy time.

I have had 2 babies while I was leaking. They were both c sections with general epidurals. They went fine. I have 2 beautiful healthy baby girls. Congratulations and good luck. Send me a private message if you have any questions.

thanks for all the responses.... is anyone a cranial leaker?

i was really freaked out when i found out and was so scared of going back to how i was. i am trying to take each day as it comes and i'm feeling more positive about this new baby.

i think i will have to get some additional help after birth but luckily my dr. wants to refer me to a high risk OB and to get a c-section upon delivery. i was relieved because my leak hasn't been found or really confirmed.
