I am glad the therapy worked for you and it would work for people with pain from spinal instability due to tendons and ligaments. Unfortunately many here have chronic pain from something other than spinal problems and others of us have spinal problems that aren't from tendon or ligament.

I hope your experience helps several people that read your post relieve their pain.

I second Mark, and am one of those people. It will not help me though I am glad it helped you.

This is the first time I have had the original posting removed and my response moved to the top like I started this thread. Any ideas on what happened here? It is no big deal but it does have me wondering how it happened.

It looks like the OP was removed as spam. Which left behind the rest of the thread.

I wondered at the time if he was advertising. I didn't like the comment that 90% of us would be pain free if we would have the surgery.

I do have upper neck pain and spasm from weak ligaments, and have never heard of prolotherapy. Is it some kind of injection, or surgery? Thanks for the infor; sorry I missed the original post.

Mark, the 90% comment and the post's title saying it could "cure most people of chronic pain!!" made me annoyed, too. Seriously, if there was something that could actually cure "most people" of chronic pain, don't you think we'd know about it (and our doctors -- many are experts in pain managment)?

In my opinion , prolotherapy is one of those "cures' that ranks right along with the DRX7000 , or whatever it was called. "It" was going to "cure" herniations, and increase the water content in discs, and prolotherapy is simply sugar water injected into the muscles ( which is why insurance won't pay for it. If there was any truth to the stuff they say it does, it would have studies that show that....there aren't any......it doesn't cure anything, just empties peoples wallets quicker.
