Carly'sMa

Carly's case was presented to the metabolic specialist today. It was presented by the endocrinologist and I think the geneticist was also there.
I received a phone call from the endocrin fellow who had a series of questions. She wanted to know how Carly was doing. We cleared up some details of her illness. There are some records that the doctor needs to get. She also said that the urine tests were incomplete, that there were some results missing so she was going to check into that. I explained that Carly gave us a very small sample so who knows if they ran all the tests. We discussed when this happened and I said typically in warmer weather, but it wasn't particularly hot when it happened. Carly was sweating a lot though - she actually had beads of perspiraton on her upper lip.
She said the metabolic specialist did not idenitfy any particular syndrome/disease. He did not suspect anything specific at this time.
So they are still gathering info and studying the situation.
The mystery continues.
