Hi all, maybe someone can help. Had MS and Chrohns for 9 yrs now & on avonex for the MS, so far ,so good. Untill this flare up with my small bowel that is infected. GI stopped my meds & switched me to prednisone but the symptoms are still here and now the last options are ,going on Humira as last resort before surgery. The side effects warn about MS and are the same when on this drug, so how do you know whats causing the side effects ? Your MS or the Humira ? Did anybody have to use this drug while on your current MS treatment ? It looks like a nasty drug and just wondering if I'd be better off just to have the resection to the bowel. Thanks.
