abdominal binders

I am thinking about trying an abdominal binder. For those of you who use one or have in the past, is there a brand that you recommend? Did it help alleviate symptoms? Any helpful info?

Cedars sent me one from dj Orthopedics, LLC (http://www.painreliever.com/Back-Braces_DJElasticBack.html). It may have helped a bit. Just remember to take it off before eating!

Yes, I wore a 'binder' - just went to the local pharmacy and bought the widest bandage I could find. I wound it around myself tightly from below my ribs to my hips. I found it very helpful when I was upright. When that worked, I bought an elasticated lumbar back support brace, but infortunately I can't remember the brand. The bandage was good just to see if it would help before investing in a more expensive binder.
