ELEVEN YEARS YEARS AGO TODAY I BECAME AN EX-SMOKER!!! WOOHOO!!

:D ** :D ** :D ** :D ** :D ** :D ** :D

The truth is, if I didn't have COPD (emphysema, chronic bronchitis) and asthma as a result of being someone who smoked heavily (over 3 packs a day) 25 years of my life, there would be nothing to remind me that I was ever an active smoker.

I have no urges. I have no thoughts about smoking. I actually have a hard time even envisioning myself as a smoker, but when I say that I'm not in denial either. It's just that the compulsion, the addiction and the obsession I used to have to nicotine and cigarettes was removed from me completely, and I am so grateful to be free from the chains that bound me to that awful (and deadly) habit/addiction!

jingle - Thank you for your kind words. Because of the permanent damage that I've done to myself by smoking, I feel it's important for me to reach out and offer my help to anyone who is ready to quit!
