are there any doctors in the UK who are helpful when it comes to leaks? I have a penpal/friend who shares similar symptoms to myself and she's gotten nowhere with her treatment. at this time she is unable to travel outside of her country to get help.
the confuse matters... she most likely has an ear leak so this is rarely picked up on any scans and she might need to get her pressure read thru a LP to prove low ICP.
hi xtine kings college London, but the wait is forever, its hard to get any one to take it, seriously with out a positive tau test, Laura sent me a link to a doctor but can,t find it Portsmouth area maybe

Hi Xtine I sent you details a of the Dr I am seeing at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. I am not sure how much experience they have on ear leaks. In any event he has a very good patient approach. There is a very long wait unless you go privately which I am. Let me know if you need me to resend the details.
best wishes

Hi xtine,
I was thrilled with my neurosurgeon however whilst I was a cranial leaker I did have an easy and positive Beta 2 Transferrin test result. I was treated at University Hospital North Staffs in Stoke, Staffordshire. Where about's is your friend located? I know there is a very good NS over at Queens Medical in Nottinghamshire that also deals with CSF Rhino & Ottereah.

i'll take the names of anyone you guys suggest... feel free to PM me. i'm not sure where exactly she is (i'm in canada) but i can find out.
we just became friends due to our similar symptoms. it just kills me because the doctors are no help and have her on morphine for her chronic headaches. i'm worried she'll get addicted to that... she needs help and soon.
