Hi all. I'm new to this forum but not to BrainTalk. I've been around since 2001. I first hung out on the RSD/CRPS forum due to contracting that complication from surgery in 2002. I also hung in Spinal Disorders, since I have those kind of issues as well.

I recently posted a link on Spinal Disorders to my new Cervie MRIs that I uploaded. Pab saw it and mentioned a possible ACM issue; ChiroGreek agreed. So, here I am. I had never heard of ACM, so have doing a lot of research since then. Link to that thread is: http://brain.hastypastry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6126

Last month, my wonderful OS saw some issues in my cervie MRIs and has referred me to a NS. However, my appt with the NS isn't until the end of Jan. I will be bringing up the ACM issue with him.

My main syptoms are:
constant pain in shoulders,
occasional sharp pain in neck on left side,
occasional numbness in left hand little finger,
frequent arm numbess upon awaking,
frequent low-grain headache
heavy head (feels like I always have a basket of rocks sitting on it)
tenderness down the outside of both arms,
arm & hand weakness,
unsteady grasping of objects with left hand (dropping items),
zingers (constant electrical reverbation-like sensations from neck up into head,
crunchy neck noises
low blood pressure

If MRIs turn you on, hehe, please check out mine and give me your opinions. MRIs located at Photobucket.

Very nice to meet you all. I am catching up on reading this forum.

Thx, Kiya

There is only two pics that bring me to see a chiari. I am NOT an expert, just a person that has looked at numerous MRI's.

I will let someone that has more experience view this.

Also, if you can send your films to a chiari expert, that would be in your best interest.

Best of luck.
Oh, and your symptoms seem to "fit" in the chiari realm. But chiari symptoms can be other things as well.
