Prior to BT's bout in the ER, I placed a Memory Posting to one of the four orriginal victims of Central Pontine Myelinolysis who were blessed to locate each other because of BrainTalks availability. Tonodrums was a professional drummer who also was alcoholic as most are as its very susceptable to the sad consequences of the iatrogenic causes to CPM being alcoholism, malnutrition along with severe illness. This was not the same path for me. His wife being a nurse was very special as her caring loving ways aided him for almost four years post his CPM diagnosis. Those who acquire CPM do not survive more than 30 days diagnosed or not about 70 percent of the time.

Kevin had conveyed many of his thoughts with me as we never know what tomorrow will bring. Knowing how we get CPM, its very rare to live within its chronic symptoms as there has never been any substancial research for any reasons. Kevin's positive attitude kept him going to always let it be known how much he loved his wife.

When Kevin was found by his wife early one morning after her late shift at the hospital on the kitchen floor not breathing as to the best of my knowledge it may have been Dysphagia, one of the common symptoms. She started CPR as she called 911. He was declared in the same ER that took his life once before four years earlier.

We know Kevin's beating his drum in "Heaven's Band," as two of us continue beating drums to create "Awareness" to this horrific disease.

I can continue to do everything humanly possible to seek World Awareness as my other CPM associate/friend does the same in England, his home. This was our agreement as we met here at BT in August 2004.

We march on to the beat of the drum. G-d Bless...
