signing in

I find when i sign in and click 'remember me' and when it says "thank you signing in ian" and i go back to the front page i find i have to sign in again whats going wrong?

If you're having that sort of problem with the log-in, it's worth clearing your cookies at the link below and checking to see if that helps.

I was having the exact same problem when I first registered.

I enter the same name and password over and over. Sure is cutting down the number of times I post.

Hope this is a wrinkle that disappears soon. Anybody have a clue?

Another thing that has worked for me:

Set the BT adress you use directly for the forum you usually post in. Then sign in. I have no idea why but this worked for me.

If you already do that, try using another forum. If that works, then the next time go back to using your regular forum's direct address

Aaargh! This time it took about eight times entering my name and password.

No, I didn't do a cookie dance :confused: because I can eventually get on. I thought that if a cookie was the problem I wouldn't get on at all. Not true?????

As for signing on while in a forum, I haven't tried exactly the method you suggest. :( I will try.

Here's another thing that works. When you sign in and it says "Thank you For Signing in" and then goes back to the sign in screen?? Make sure you have the box checked and simply close the browser. Then click the link in your email notifying you of a reply to a thread or open it from your favorites and you should be signed in. So far it has worked for me every time.

Are any of you having the problem with the forum bolding the entire string of threads instead of just bolding the ones since you last looked at the forum? This started last night.

This sure is weird. I hope it continues to work. I signed in on one forum and when taken right back to the sign-in page I switched forums. Was able to post!
