Good Afternoon everyone!!

Hello to Chris, TeddieBears, Lee, Pat, Alice and anyone else who is reading. Were experiencing more forum trouble. It's taking a good 5 minutes (or more) just for the forum to come up. Where is John Lester? We so depend on this place!!

I would like to post the following information regarding the swine flu. This is from around 1976. Please educate yourself about the swine flu vaccine before you blindly take it.

Part one President Ford (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lcJt4jX1Vo)

Part two President Ford (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4c9Is1T3z4&feature=related)

The information is not current but, IMHO is very relevent.

My back pain has not improved.....to the point of panic and extreme discomfort. I sleep very little. I have several box's of 75mcg. Duragesic patch's left. I folded the patches in half and have been keeping them on for 12 to 15 hours. My back pain is much, much better. I don't want to have to go back to the pain clinic but what am I going to do? As I said, Soma is just not cutting it.

I'm not so much telling you, just making a statement. I am a human being and I deserve pain relief. I have part of a box of the Lidoderm which I have been using on my knee. They are not working.

I spoke to my friends sister. Her sister is my best friends mother. He died in 1993. Anyway, she is in the hospital having shock treatments. I can't ever imagine consenting to such a procedure.

We need a good reading. Not everything so gloom and doom. I'm sorry. That's just me.

It's cool today. I have the windows open. We have not had too hot a summer. Somw days but not most.

Please have a sane, pain free sober day....and please post. I need people to talk to:D

Hi Phil and everybody. Yes Teddie is always good at posting readings. Not me.

The weather where I am at has been beautiful. Not too terribly far from you Phil.

You know, there was a time when my psych doc and I were struggling trying to find the right meds for my depression and Bipolar II and we were going from med to med to med and I had read of someone having ECT treatments and hearing that they are just not like they use to be, I had considered having it done. I hear there is some memory loss, mostly short term but I have also heard that the more you use it the worse the memory gets. My memory is already shot from meds, fibro, past drug and alcohol use. I guess when you reach a certain point you will do whatever it takes to stay alive.

I hope you treat yourself better and give yourself permission to use your pain medication in a moderate, healthy way. No sense in driving yourself to the edge of insanity by not getting enough sleep and living in pain 24/7.

((((HUGS TO ALL))))

Hi Sly. It's so nice to see you post. I look forward to seeing more of you!!
I will be in touch with you shortly.

Chris,

I spoke to my friends Aunt and she doesn't seem to bad at all. She's had them before. She is bipolar. I went out to see her not to long ago. I worked with a nurse who had them and she couldn't remember where she lived!! I remember her asking me to crack an oxygen tank. I was clueless.

Take care everyone!!

Phil

Hi All ~ Again, I'm a day late! It's good to see folks post!

SLY ~ Gosh, it's GREAT to see you!!! Haven't talked to you in ages! How the heck are you??? I've missed you and hope you stop back in more often!

Christina ~ Good grief, I hope you aren't considering shock treatments! Those may not be as bad as they used to be but they're still barbaric! I think they should be outlawed! ICK!!! Please don't!

Phil ~ I'm sorry your back is still giving you fits. That's miserable, as I well know. If you get too darned painful, you'd better get back to your pain doc. There's no sense in living in agony. Life is too short as it is!

Nothing new here. One day is the same as the next. Boring! I hate being disabled ~ there are so many things I can't do and the list is growing every day! LOL. Oh well, it could be worse.

Hope our list of posters keeps growing! We'll get this place rocking again yet! And for the lurkers out there ~ PLEASE jump in and say "hi." You're more than welcome! Take care all. Hugs, Lee
