I've always had a fascination with Alaska. My Grandparents worked for the National Park Service and lived there for a time, my BIL and his wife lived there while he was in the service, and my two cousins lived there; one working on the oil pipeline and the other married to a man who was in the service.

I was ROTFLMAO when I saw the title of the post... especially since I checked about every third day for the whole time we were down to see whether we were back yet! ;)

So, about that trip... When's the next one? Can I carry your luggage or something? Not trying to be TOO forward or anything, but this looks like it was really great! :D

Alaska just takes my breath away. We've been there twice, and I really hope to go again. You took some great pics. Makes me want to dig out my pictures and re-live the memories...

Beautiful pictures, WOW !!!!!!!!!

my stepdad's daughter lives near anchorage and she sent some pics, Alaska is wonderful.

She is now in Iraq as she is in the Airforce. She sends me pics from there also.

Abigail,

It was the Carnival Spirit. Just make sure the cruise you take can get into Glacier Bay, as each Cruise ship only has 2-3 weeks it can enter it.

It was great and recommended, but I'm biased as my daughter dances on it!
