Well since I have vented about increased pain I thought I should say something about having a good day. I had a "lost" day Saturday but I was able to be up and help a bit with the gardening. We were award the town "landscaping beautification" for the month of August. We were doing more gardening today with the kids helping and putting more mulch down in the new flower bed we created. I paid a price for the little bit of work I did but I finally got the thoracic and lumbar spasms calmed down so I could enjoy the physical tiredness I used to have every day. The physical tiredness from doing physical work is one of the things I miss the most. It always was so good to feel physical tired at the end of the day in the past. Now it only takes a little bit of work to feel that but the pain and spasms usually keep me from feeling it.

I hope I can sleep soon and sleep until noon to have another decent day today. I hope others of you had a good weekend and have a good week this week.

Phyllis, it was such a good day my body has decided to extend it and I am now on 26 hours of no sleep. I hope to sleep today though.

Haven't looked for ages. I was not really aware of your increased pain. I'm sorry. I hope its only temporary. Glad you had a good day, but then you will be overtired if you got no sleep for so many hours. Its so difficult to get the correct balance, and yet so important. Hope all else is well in your life, and that improvement continues.
Mary.

Hi Mary, I hope it is a temporary increase in pain although I know that I have gotten worse I am not ready to be a lot worse. Things are better here although not without a few bumps in the road. I am happy that my wife's blow ups are now limited to one day. How are things going for you, I hope hubby is behaving better. Email me if you want to talk about it as I know sometimes it is good to write out what is going on even if there is no help provided. it is good to hear from you and I hope you have been able to continue with the volunteer work you enjoy so much.

I posted this because I have been complaining lately and thought I should let others know I can still have a good day now and then:).

Mark, congrats on winning the best landscaping award, that is terrific, plus alot of hard work you and your family put into it. I agree with you, on how nice it is to sleep due to being physically tired, and then after that we are where we were before, un-sleepable(new word! haha) nights and back to square one. I'm starting to think that when my nights are off it's all due to my medications, so I'm trying to adjust the times when I take them so I'm not taking them right before I go to bed, I did this the last two nights and I slept better.
Rest up!, and way to go on the landscaping.

Karen, I hope changing the times of your doses works for you. I have tried all different times and combination without any success for sleep. I hope to have another good day soon and work hard enough to feel physically tired instead of just exhausted.
