Dear Sirs and Madams:
I am a member of the Parkinson's II Forum and was dismayed to discover that a post I placed in response to another person's post had been deleted. I challenged the previous posters position; not the poster himself. My remarks could not be construed to be impolite or a "put down" in any way. Although my comments may be interpreted by others as inflammatory because they disagree with the majority, my purpose is to force people to think the issue in different aspects as to how it will affect society if Embryonic cell research is continued. I have had Parkinson's for 16 years and am as qualified to post on the Parkinson forum as anyone else with or caretaker of someone with PD. I have been told to post my opposing viewpoints on a forum that is more in line with the way I perceive stem cell issues; however, my posts are meant to make people understand that there is no one answer in the scientific community, not to look for support for my position.
I am well educated in the research going on for Parkinson's. In fact, I am well educated having finished a college degree in Information Management.
I would request, respectfully, why my responce was removed from the thread I started.
Vicky Lynn
