Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your prayers and support it means a lot. My hubby now has a throat infection. His uvula (the thing that hangs down in the back of your throat) is so swollen they are concerned it will obstruct his airway. He is home but under alert to go to hospital if any trouble breathing.

We still do not have the extended pathology results for the staging on the esophagus cancer, so no action plan. I am not doing well with the waiting. I am trying to be patient but it is so hard to just sit here doing nothing while the cancer grows unchecked. Rachel knows he has cancer now (little pitchers have big ears) and seems to be okay, just worried. She has been having a little more trouble than usual, but heat and stress are triggers.

Continued prayers please.... Mary

The infection has cleared up, Thank God. But he is still having pain in his abdomen from the endoscopy, which was 3 weeks ago. We see the oncologist this afternoon, and I just found out that they don't have the results yet, but will by the time we get there. All I can say is they better. Three weeks is too long to have to wait for biopsy results. I would understand if it was genetics or something but geez...

Thank you all for the prayers and support. It really does mean the world to me.
