Surgery tomorrow....hopefully

My mom, Plang, is scheduled to have surgery in the morning (Monday 6/1). On Friday she woke up with laryngitis and a sore throat. She called the surgeon but didn't hear back. She does not have a fever...we are hoping she can still have the surgery tomorrow. The wait is hard.

Tomorrow evening I'll try to post an update. I know she has received a lot of support on this site. (I have too). Thank you to all her new friends.

Sandy, we are glad you made it through your surgery. I'm am impressed that you called my mom today to encourage her. It is amazing you called from the hospital only 3 days after your surgery. That is great news!!!!

Yesterday, I posted a picture of my mom....on the picture sticky. It is the last (or close to the last) one on Page 2.

Good luck to your mom! I now know how hard it is to be on the 'other side' of the aneurysm thing, being the family and not the patient is so difficult....stay strong.
