World M.s. Day!!

In case you didn't know, today is the first worldwide M.S. day.

This a Spanish M.S. page with a nice video. I'm sure you can find it on YouTube. I just don't have time to look right now. I'm at work and really shouldn't even be on here.

I feel strange about M.S. day like you can't go around saying "Happy M.S. day!". It's not like women's day... anyway...

Thanks for the link-- U2 rocks :) LOved the pic of Rafael Nadal... I've been learning Spanish from CD's in my car ride to work, so it was fun to be able to understand much of the website. :)

I like "esclerosis mu'ltiple" better than Multiple Sclerosis. I think, I might start calling it that...

Soldier Field September 12th and 13th...already planning the tailgate party, as DH and i (and about 20 friends from around the world) will be there at 6AM to start lining up!!

I've been a fan of a lot of U2's music for quite a while too and was really glad to find out that one of their songs is part of the World MS Day video. I thought it was very impressive--the song and the accompanying images.

renee, I agree that World MS Awareness Day would be much more appropriate. :)

I went to see a local band a few years ago who was trying to raise money for MS research. The venue that had booked them had painted "Benefit for MS" in the window. I got them to change it to "Benefit for MS Research"! :D

Maybe Paris Hilton will show up (tee hee)--she has said she is hoping to help out with MS awareness (of course, at the time, she was trying to repair her jail image).
