Anyone have any CPAP tricks? Tyler will not keep his CPAP mask on at night. We have tried several different types, but he just insists on pushing it off:cool:! I hate having to put it on him, but I know its best for him to use it. I just feel bad that he hates it so much. So, I was wondering if anyone had any magic tricks to keeping it on, other than superglue:p!
Here is an example of what I am talking about. This is how we find him in the mornings, with it over his eye instead of his nose!:D :

when i was in 1st grade i really wanted to put my bangs off to the side, but i would never keep the clips on, so my mom made a sticker chart and every time i came home with the clips on i got a sticker on my chart, and after 5 sticker i got a present, something small)
hope this helps:)

My answer is no. I even wake up some morning with my mask on the top of my head or on the floor. Have you tried putting it on him after he falls asleep.
I know that he is non-verbal but could you ask him questions as to why he takes it off, yes and no type questions.
Have you considered the mask that goes over your nose and mouth?
Maybe put socks on his hands so it is harder to move it off his face.
Other than that I am really not sure what else you can do.

I don't have any suggestions to help keep the mask on, but i thought the photo of him is adorable! Aggie
