I received a letter today with my password in it for the website...I did not receive a letter yet saying I was approved, but the person handling my case told me last week that I should know by the 14th. She said she could not tell me what the determination was because the decision could be reversed, but does it look good if they sent me a letter with a code in it for a new beneficary.

Oh guys please say it looks good! We need the money so badly right now...I have everyone praying for me...My husband works such long hours to pay for my medical bills and medicines.

In your post on Dec. 7th you stated that you got a call giving you approval--- Is this letter for Social Security benefits? Who called you? I don't know that SSDI makes it a practice to call you to give you a decision, it is usually in written form----

It is hard to say what is a good sign or a bad sign when dealing with Social Security-- I dealt with them for 3 years of pure nonsense with them and when I got before the ALJ judge He asked the SSA rep Why they even denied me the 1st time, clear med records, doctor statements stating my disability,, etc.. So good sign? I certainly hope so but again it is real difficult to say, Try not to read into anything unless it states for sure approved or denied!
I wish I could help more
Good Luck to you!!:)

Did you have to appy for a password for the SSA web site?

I was given a fully favorable decision in October, but I have never received a password, so I'm thinking that a person probably has to apply for a password, right??
