I was searching youtube for autism videos, and came across this video of a bunch of women raising money for autism, so if you watch it (it is so very funny), how far would you go to raise money for autism? :D

Short of making a pact with the devil or hurting an innocent person, I'd have done anything if I thought it would have cured my son. I was so numb from the grief that anything that would have given hope for him, I'd have done without hesitation. I also would not endanger my life, cause then I would not have been there for my kids.

The calendar looks like it was actually a fun time, I'm sure no one there ever thought they'd be doing something like that. I'd do it if I had to, sure. But I hardly see how that would help sales (lol).

That's what love for your child + desperation can do! It's nothing unique, mom's go above and beyond what they ever thought they could regularly...especially in the first year of your child's life when you get about 3 hours a sleep a day if you're lucky.

Say, if you're browsing around youtube, look up Silentmiaow. You'll really enjoy her, she's incredibly smart.

I think most of us here have enjoyed her videos, she used to post here sometimes too. I've been amazed at her insight into nt minds, enjoy how she explains her mind without making a 'right' and 'wrong' out of nt/asd thinking. I enjoy her lack of animosity toward people, in favor of understanding and clarity. She's stayed true to herself, and not allowed herself to become all 'other' and no 'self'...which was my only strategy years back for how to make it in the world. She's awesome.

I have been wanting to make some videos, but I have not come up with any ideas yet. I have been thinking of ways I could use some of my techniques for photography in a video. Photography I can spend a bunch of time with one photo, seting up lighting and everything, have to think how I can put that in a video to give a message without words.

Don't you have some kind of a communication device you made yourself...I remember something like that. That would be cool to see how you did that and what your device does. Also would be way cool to see you in a race! Really inspires parents to feel like their child could be what they want or enjoy a sport they wish to, like cycling.

well, I cant really film myself during a bike race ;) but I searched youtube to try to find a video from a race that showes me in it, no luck, I have been in a couple races that have been on TV before, but never recorded them, although I do have a ton of pictures, newspaper clippings, etc. of me racing and riding. I can PM to show anyone who wants to see, but I am a little to hesitant putting them up for the public to see and giving away my identity

The communication device, I really didnt make it myself, as it is just the software they sell for this put on a laptop. The software and the laptop are pieces of crap, that is why I have been in need of something better. I have posted about it a bunch of times, you must have not read those posts though :p
explained it in these different threads
