Totally confused

I am suffering from morning headaches, some really nasty indigestion that smells horrid and has my stomach gurgling during the night, growing depression and I can't tell which one of these is the culprit,

.025 of Synthroid started on the 12th

stopping 750 mg 2x day Salsalate on the 19th due to upcoming ESIs on the 24th

stopping Fish Oil 2000mg 1x day on the 17th due the the same

switching from Prilosec OTC to Omeprazole 20mg on the 16th

actually this has only started since the Omepra incident but could it take a bit for a buildup of these other meds?

Uhm left out chopping Topamax 100mg in half because was all out and normally take 50mg, had some left over from scrip change, and knew I was going to see doc but I realized the Topamax has some kind of coating on top of it so duh I am sure I am not supposed to be cutting them in half. Point is mute now because I saw Neuro yesterday and got refills so I started them last night, woke with no headache this morning but really means nothing to me until it has been a couple of days.

a few thoughts...

fish oil sometimes makes depression not so bad.

did you just start taking the synthroid and are you titrating up? too little thyroid hormone causes depression, also. if not titrating up, maybe another tsh test should be taken.

you said you were having probs with your stomach since your gallbladder surgery. is this any different? did you eat anything different lately? more fiber? different veggies? beans?

look at the ingredients in the omeprazole. is there something in them that might be causing the stomach probs...soy? generic drugs don't have to use the same fillers that were in the original drug.

when you were taking the omeprazole and the salsalate, did you take the omeprazole last? (after your salsalate doses?) omeprazole reduces the acid in the stomach and the salsalate could irritate it. also, taking salsalte on an empty stomach might cause an inflammation in the lining of the stomach (gastritis).

My daughter was allowed to cut Topamax up. The coating is not enetric-coating, and the pill is not time-release.

When she was weaning off of it she had to be cutting the 25mg into fourths!

Well now that I am back to my regular Topomax I am fine. Naomi maybe we were getting two different manufacturers and that is why I was having the reaction I was. I don't know, I am so ridiculously med sensitive it could have been any one of those.
