CJD is a brain wasting disease, basically. Similar to mad cow in bovines, scrapie in sheep. With my dad's case, he basically went bonkers overnight, was sent to the state psychiatric hospital, was vegetative within six weeks and died six months after showing the first symptoms.

What exactly do you need to know?
