Has anyone heard of this? My therapist recommended this place that does
Network Chriopractics.

They first assess and test using Surface electromyography a scan that assesses electrical current in the muscles, theral scanning which assesses communication b/t the nerve system and blood vessels, and an inclinometer (?) which assesses ROM.

They also do nutrition assessment and tx.

What is Network Chiropractic Care?*

"Healing is the outward manifestation of our inner journey of discovery"
-Donald Epstein, D.C.
Network Chiropractic Care is an approach to wellness that applies low force touch contacts, at Spinal Gateways, cuing the nervous system to develop new strategies for living and healing. It allows people to heal from their physical pain, emotional traumas, and chemical insults to their body.

This sounds promising. Any input?

the reason i'm so interested in alternatives to narcotics is that i am a recovering alcoholic

i hate this pain too and it has messed with my life too

i'm looking for anything that will provide relief and some form of normalcy in my life . . . but it can't be narcotics

Try anything for 2-4 weeks. If you notice no objective improvement, stop! You're only making someone elses car or mortgage payment!

Carrie,

Actually, I think this person does cranial sacral therapy. This method of chiropractics (and I don't begin to know much about it), I think deals in light touch. My therapist does biofeedback.

I'm fearful that acupuncture will cause a flare. Just getting blood drawn causes pain that stays with me for a long while (and that's not in the affected area).

Thanks to both of you for your input.
