I finally got the grant money to order a video camera to make videos for Carly and videos of her behavior for the behaviorist to see.

So, I went on line with Best Buy. But, the shipping fee was $13 and then there was tax of 14. I also have a rewards card and didn't see where to put the number in (spending enough to get a $5 gift certificate back). So, I called and ordered by telephone and asked if they could waive the shipping fee. They did!:D

I ordered the camcorder and carrying bag. I'm hoping my tripod will hold together enough (dog chewed it and another part broke) to use because I really don't want to buy a new one.

I'm hoping it will come before next Wednesday. Jeremy and I leave for Las Vegas on Thursday and I want to make her some videos of me playing her favorite songs so that she has that while I'm away.

Well, today I was in Walmart. I saw the same camera (I thought) $30 less! I just went online and they do have it for $30 less.

Best Buy says I have to bring proof of the price for them to match it.

But, they waived the shipping. Hmmm- I still think I should save the money.

hey, didn't you say ALWAYS ask?? :)

have you called them to ask? Can't hurt! $30 is enough to make it count.

Denae, you are absolutely right.

It just took a lot of work to find the camera. And, I had to do a lot to get the money. I'm just not looking to do more.

but, your are right $30 is $30.
