Hi Everyone,
I am reaching my 6 month anniversary date of my surgery. At my last appointment my doctor had told me that I will not be returning to my current job so in order for her to accurately place restrictions on me she had ordered a functional capacity evaluation. Now, my lawyer was stunned because he says that usually it's compensation that orders this. He told me to put it off as long as I could. So I did. Unfortunately, I can't put it off any longer because I now have a trial date set for my case. No matter how long I try to put it off I will eventually have to get it.
So, I'll be going through this soon. Is there anything that I should know about when taking the FCE?? My lawyer said to do everything that I can do and make sure to tell the person who's performing the evaluation every single time it hurts regardless if it's not that significant.
Thank you all for your help,
Kimberly
