It's been 12 days since my MVD surgery for HFS. My hearing on the left side is damaged. I hear all sorts of electrical activity going on. I still feel unbalanced. I don't think I can ride my bike. My left eye still twitches but I do think it's better than before the surgery. I can live with the ear and the eye but this unbalanced feeling has me worried. Is it normal to still feel giddy 12 days after MVD? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

You have a reply in the trigeminal neuralgia forum. Many of us with TN have ended up having MVD surgery and there seems to be some similarities with symptoms. Have you spoken with your neurosurgeon? Is this an expected side-effect from the surgery and will it go away according to the MD?
