Hello everyone. I've just joined this forum. I was diagnosed with MS in 1991, getting worse within the last five years. I walk with the aid of a Rollator or a forearm crutch and Montana, my wonderful service dog.
I have tremors, which have affected my walking and the use of my arms and hands. I also have muscle spasms, basically controlled with Baclofen. My neuro is trying Klonopin for the tremors, and I think it's helping a little bit. I also wear ankle weights and wrist weights off and on during the day to counterbalance the tremors. These also help, but they are tiring.
I have a wonderful husband, we've been married 20 years, who is also my caretaker. He is very good to me, and he makes me laugh. So, with DH and Montana, I'm doing pretty good. :)
