i cannot take this pain anymore

hello! i am had endometriosis for years, and have had two surgeries for it, been on meds that put me into a 'pseudo-menapause'...........and have had hormones messed with for over a year.

Im sorry to hear youre going through the same struggle :(. Endo is so ferocious.

Many of us have chosen against messing with hormones, it is a valid choice and there are doctors who respect that. For some people hormones work but for others it doesnt. In fact, my endo started up while I was already on Depo Provera. However, my very good doctors now, wouldnt use depo, theyd give me aygestin, but I wont take it.

Surgery and pain control is what has worked best for me. Course youve already had 2 surgeries. Ibuprofen is a life saver as it keeps things from going downhill during the worst time of month and helps the pain better then vicodin I also take. However, if half your pain is from adhesions caused by the bleeding of the endo or from the surgeries, ibuprofen may not work as well and in that case surgery is the way to go. I felt sooo much better after the adhesions were properly taken out of my abdomen.

I want to have another surgery but cant because I cant find a doctor who will take my insurance.

If hormones arent working well for you, its time to look into surgery and/or pain control with ibuprofen and/or opioids. Also a natural doctor may be able to help you as well.
