Just found out that I have shingles

I just have a question, does anyone know if sunlight can trigger a episode. I am a avid beach person and want to know if I have to limit my sunlight.

That is something you should talk to your dr. about. You should be on medications for the shingles and that may require you to stay out of the sun. It's early enough in the year where I think it won't hurt you to stay out of the sun for a week or two. Let the shingles pass.
