Hello to all.
I just found this forum, I belong to others. (The name MacOutlaw, refers to the fact(s) that I use a Mac, and am a fan of the Outlaws band.)
Nothing scary there.

I was involved in two catastrophic auto accidents, first in '83, T-Boned by a Tractor Trailer, (Cause RSD, and TOS. Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.) Chronic Pain, headaches, and arms/hands.
The second in '98, a nice little old lady blew a stop sign, and I was a passenger, tried to brace, and hit the top of the windshield (convertible), click click, discs in neck and low back, MTBI, subdural hematoma, and etc...

2nd Wife has beaten me, emptied my bank accounts, stolen my business', and thrown me and MY children out of MY house!
She's now asking for everything I have left, in the divorce.
Of course, SHE, is the victim. Anytime she didn't like my attitude, she dialed 911.
I went to the police department, with my children, to have her removed because of the abuse she was doing to my children and myself.
They laughed at me!
They laughed at me...

It's nearly impossible, for a man to get an ounce of empathy from anyone!
Not even my attorneys! (I can't pay them, I'm paying HER to live in MY house, while I rent, my children don't speak to me, because they think I was stupid. (I was).) She caused the closing of TWO business' that they were to take over!

Anyway, I'm glad to be here, I think, and I KNOW that many of you here have far more horrible stories than mine. For all here, I offer my prayers!

My name is,
Pete

I'll be looking around soon.. Thanks for having me!

Welcome, Pete! :)

Wow...I'm so sorry for all you have been through, friend. :( What an ordeal. It sounds like you may need to access several forums here, too. Please have a look around, and feel free to ask anything at anytime.

welcome pete! *bunch

you certainly have been through a lot and i am sorry for your problems.

there are groups out there that help male victims of domestic abuse. :
http://dahmw.org/

just like with doctors, if you find someone who doesn't understand you or take you seriously, do not go back for their services! find someone who has empathy for you and takes you seriously.

domestic abuse against males is now very much recognized. lawyers and police who don't recognize it should not be tolerated.

pete, i at least think you should be living in your own home! call the organization i gave you the number for and see if there is anybody in pennsylvania who has experience with male domestic violence survivors.

as liz has said, there are many forums you could find support from here. look around, post.

we are here for you!

nice to know you,
jeannie

Gosh, Pete I am so sorry for everything you have been thru. I think your ex-wife and my husbands ex-wife must have gotten together for drinks to exchange ideas. I hope that your children will some day see the light and figure out the truth of the situation. It may take till they are older but I believe it will happen.

Best wishes,
Shell

Thanks Liz, Jeannie and Shell!
It's very nice to hear from you.
I will be in court tomorrow for "equitable distribution". I haven't been able to get a return call from my attorney in months and months. So, I'll have to go myself.
Then I will use the resources you so thoughtfully provided. I will find a new attorney. The divorce is in Philly.

I have (besides the others things) incredible sleep difficulties. So, the cpap machine really drives me crazy if I cannot doze off.

I see that there is a lot to learn here, and I thank you all again!

Peace and Love to all,

Pete

Thanks again for all your kindness.
I went to court "masters meeting" on friday.
My lawyer did not show up. (He has my file!)
I objected to the entire trial.
(another attorney told me to do that, and sign NOTHING), yet another attorney from a hospital here, told me that they broke the law, the "ADA". (I hafto look into that).

Anyway, she ended up with MY house!
Her name is not on it, she has ALL my documents, because she threw me out, including our Pre nup.
She Denied that we had one! ( A Pre Nup).

Needless, I got sweaty, (rsd, that means intense pain for me), and my brain was spinning) rather than get ill there, I got up and left.

This other attorney told me I did the right thing.
So, now I must pick up whole pile of peices, and start in new.
Wow, when it gets bad, it gets worse.

There is ALWAYS someone who has it worse, and I thank you all here, for your kind and gentle support, it's very refreshing.
I have some incredible friends too.

It seems incredible to me, what one person can do to another.
This wife of mine, had "Nothing" but welfare when I married her, ( I didn't know that ).
She told me otherwise, that daddy was loaning her money.
How awful her first husband was........

Oh Lord.

Thanks for listening / reading.

Blessings to all
