Anyone have a "DENT"

Hello to all ! I am new to this forum and couldn't find what I was looking for. In July of 2007 I was diagnosed with a Diffuse Astrocytoma Grade 2, went through radiation, and had follow up MRI's. My condition is stable and trying to take it one day at a time. Over the past few months I noticed that my "Dent" in my head is sinking and two of the srews/plates or realy sore and painfull at times. They can cause throbing headaches that can last all day. I saw the Neurosurgeon and he gave me some options. 1) Forget about it and deal with the pain. 2) Make a incision, remove the srew/plate, try to fix it, and pack the dent (I don't know the mediccal term). It would leave another more noticable scar. 3) shave my head and cut where they did when they did the Biopsy. I can't ignore it because it hurts ! Anyone out there in the same boat ? Any advice ?
