I got my report back from my doctor on Friday. Here's the deal:

Out of 120 foods I am allergic/sensitive to 70+ of them, and several chemicals and molds too.
I am anemic-low iron storage.
Low on B's vitamins and magnesium
My liver is congested
My adrenal glands are stressed out
My thryoid is A-ok
He found Mitral Valve Prolapse
And (low WBC count) I have been fighting some sort of chronic infection-not sure which one or how long

So, we are going to try to get all the food/chemical allergies under control. Work on getting my energy restored and get the liver cleaned out.

If after 6 months my energy has not restored, then we will take a closer look at the adrenal glands.

I know it will be a chore finding food I can eat. But if it helps me get better then it is worth the effort.

Thanks for listening and your support. :)

Hey Nancy,

Best of luck to you. It sounds like they did a thorough workup on you. Perhaps getting those things under control, you'll feel better soon.

Hi Nancy. What was your WBC? Mine was low two years ago when tested, and was low again in September. I did not have it checked in between. My doctors do not seem the least bit interested in my level.

Sorry to hear that you are allergic to so many things. I hope you start feeling better soon, after you get into the habit of avioding those foods. I am doing that with a no-headache diet, and it was definitely worth doing. I felt better a week after I started, it was amazing. And that meant it was a lot easier to resist chocolate!

Hi Michelle,

My WBC was 3.7 ,the range is 3.8-10.8.
Neutrophils = 53.9, range 0-65 (this is low, should be 55)
Lymphocytes = 35.7, range 0-40
Monocytes= 8.3, range 3-7 (high)

He believes that I have been fighting a chronic infection.

I am interested in your no-headache diet, my 18 yr old son suffers with migraines.

Too bad about the chocolate though. It is easier to avoid the foods when you know it makes you sick.

Have a nice day,
Nancy

Nancy I just wanted to say things will get better, they have to. I'm on a strict diet, but that is due to my bladder.
Take Care and I'm sending you many (((((hugs)))))

Nancy, my count 2 years ago was 3.8, neutrophils were 53. This year the neutros were even lower. I can't remember the exact number, and I've just finished looking for the form and can't find it. Arg!!!

The diet is from the book Heal Your Headache, by a doctor from John Hopkins Medical. I never can remember his name, but his last name starts with a "B".
