When do symptoms go away?

It has been 2 weeks since I had the blood patch. I am still very fatiqued. It seems so hard to do anything. My head and neck aches seem to be increasing very slowly but that may be because I am more active.

I find that any activity I do that makes me change the postition on my head causes the wave of pain from neck to head to happen. It hurts my eyes to look up or very far to either side. I find myself turning my entire body in order to look at things very straight on. I also walk and sit with my head down because it hurts to hold my head straight. Are these typical symptoms that may subside still or indicative of still having a leak?

If a blood patch is successful....when can you be sure? Thanks

Having almost a dozen blood patches I would say you should know by now. When my patches have worked I have known almost instantly, in some cases I knew instantly but gave it a week just to make sure.

Your situation seems to be something you should get checked out.

I encourage you to look through the posts, I posted a GREAT physician in Chicago, IL who performes a unique BP procedure. His name an info should be on the post - high volume multilocation Blood Patch.

Do you know the site of your leak?
