Has anyone ever had blue sweat or other body fluids?

I don't even sweat anymore, except in a couple of places and only as a result of hot flashes-- and it's blue. Ink blue, blue!

Very weird.

Anyone ever have that happen?

Hi PattiLee,

I had another thought. One post you said you liked to drink Gin. The Juniper berries are purple and greenish that make the Gin. Could that be it, or do you use the spice from the berries?

Have you been on Novantrone? That makes the urine and the sweat bluish. Nicknamed Blue Goo. Any other test drugs or medications?

My first thought was the "Blue Goo"... that and blueberries were the only times I've noticed anything about me blueish. Everyone around me is so "normal" that I don't see such idiosyncrasies.

The 'blue guy' made national news late last year. I believe there was come kind of contamination involved, but I don't remember much more.

Here's an article that mentions a couple of possible causes.

Thank you all!

Abby: no silver-- but I wear silver jewelry all the time. ???? Copper seems to be another culprit. My water pipes are all copper, but I don;t drink much tape water.

agate and nuthatch: thank you for the links.

Lady: I'm strickly Avonex. It works for me. Gin is my favorite, but I'm not drinking at the moment. I'm watching my diet.

Jendi: :D but what's "normal?"

BTC: The blue guy was drinking silver because he wanted to be blue. I don't look blue at all. My clothes are all turning blue.

It's really weird.

Thank you, all!

Hi PattiLee:

Sounds like you have a mystery diagnosis. Your doctor will be intrigued. Hope you can get an answer soon and it isn't anything to worry about.

Turning your clothing blue doesn't sound great - it's hard to stay fashionable in monochromatic tones....

Hope you can get an answer soon.

Hmm .... that could be a hassle, eh?

I saw this article, and thought you should probably report what is happening with you (in case others are experiencing the same thing ...):

Hi PattiLee! I'm not sure about the blue sweat, but it certainly sounds scary! I'm Cindy1193 from the OLD braintalk forum, remember me? I have always thought you've had such a wonderful heart, so I just wanted to say hello.

I hope you fiind answers do - please do keep us posted. Are you feeling bad, sick or anything? If it doesn't clear up, I would defintely go see a doctor about this condition.

Hope everything works out. Take care, and nice to "see" you online!!

Cindy
