My neuro is finally considering Rx'ing LDN! It only took two years to break through the barrier of utter rejection of considering it. Today, he said he'd do some research and get back to me. Last year I had an appointment with him just before the big Neuro Conference in Chicago, and I mentioned LDN (again). He tried to shut me down by saying, "There are no studies."
I told him about UCSF and the Italian study, and while in Chicago his resistance began to diminish. There's a neuro about 90 miles from here who prescribes LDN with Copaxone only, never as a stand alone treatment. This morning I mentioned that to him, along with her name.
Maybe Baby!!!!!! I should know more in a few weeks. He said he'd call and let me know what he's decided after more research, but he is now intrigued with LDN because of its minimal side effects and overall safety.
