I know you're out there. I can hear you breathing :D

Check-in, let us know how you are doing. It helps if we see there really are other people out there who are listening.

I'm doing ok, not fantastic but ok. Life is busy, school is coming into finals now and the workload is rough.

I am hanging in there, fighting off a cold my son caught from school that has him home too. But all next week there is no school so I am really stressing over what we're going to do for the entire week...ugh, it's the first year they've had the entire week off, I don't know why either, but they decided that they are doing it and us parents need to find some way to adjust.

Other then that I am doing ok. Sorry to hear that the workload from school is getting heavier, I hope that you ace those finals though, martians8mybrain! :)

Im in a biotchy mood myself. My son's "winter mood swings" have begun. The moodlight box is helping - being in school is not. They have the whole week off too, but I'm actually greatful for it. (at least right now i am LOL) He needs a break fastlike.

Thanksgiving is just going to be us this year. (hubby, me, and the 2 kids) This kind of bums me out because I really enjoy cooking for everyoen and getting everyone together, but my sister went through a divorce after 22 years last year and my parents and siblings will be flying there for thanksgiving this year because she only gets thanksgiving day off. This is the way it should be - but I have to be honest and say I'm a little disappointed. My hubby only gets Thanksgiving off as well so we cant fly out. Oh well, it will still be a great one.

I have also decided that I am getting a breast reduction. I'm back to 130lbs and these DD's are KILLING my back. I cant take it anymore. The meds only work for about an hour and then Im back to pain central with them. (why in gods name people delibrately make their boobies this size is BEYOND me) I havn't set the date yet, but have made the decision to have it done after the holidays.

Hope all is well with everyone else. :)

Things are better for me. The seizures are largely under control again and having time with friends these last couple days or so has really helped my mood. Things are getting more squared away for the class (volunteer, 1-3 class sessions) I'll be teaching next month and that's helped me pick up a bit. There's also the excitement of some close friends getting married this next weekend. Hope everyone has a happy and sweet weekend.

Namaste,

Daniel

bdix.. i had a reduction done in 2000...5lbs from each. I know. Best thing I ever did for myself. Plan to not do *anything* for at least a week, then nothing that is too involved for another week after that. best of luck with it.:)

AW - glad to hear you are doing better. Things always ebb and flow. Kahlil Gibran said in The Prophet that we should embrace our winters as we do our summers. We rarely learn much from the good times. Enjoy today.

pamster.. you're always so supportive :) School is going to have to take a back burner for now. I may even need to get an incomplete to allow me to do my paper later.. :(

Bdix, I am also planning breast reduction surgery soon. I have a consult with the doc set up on the 27th of this month. Not sure when I'll be able to schedule the surgery, but I am really looking forward to it.

As for me in general, my p-doc upped my Lamictal to 200 mg in the a.m., and I amd feeling better during the day. Still taking 600 mg of Seroquel at night. She is very leery of the Seroquel, but nothing else has worked for sleep.
