i was approved for ssdi in aug 2003 dating back to dec 2000. neither my notice of awards letter or notice of decision letter stated a word about a cdr the alj stated in his notes i could not be expected to make a vocational adjustment. i have fusion to lower back with almost constant pain, asthma.duptyrens contractures of both hands along with arthritis and carpal syndrome, generalzied osteoporosis, sciatica pain almost all the time, ddd, gerds, and the anxiety and depression that goes along with being disabled.,plus i had a stress fracture of pelvis that has never healed, since 2003. based on my age will be 63 in feb,and all the above conditions,do you think i will have a cdr. i go to the doctor 3 or 4 times a year. i am on 10 medications, please reply to this post.

Everyone has a CDR, even someone who's in a wheelchair for life. They should've told you when you would be up for review which is 1,3, or 7 years. I know that is a very stressful thought, but I've heard from many people that as long as you continue to see your doctor(s) on a regular basis and they agree with your disability, then you should have nothing to worry about.
Try not to stress out about it and when the CDR does come just take your time and fill everything out completely. I wish you the very best and have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Based on your age of 63, it would be extremely unlikely that you will have a CDR since your benefits will be converted to retirement at age 65.

when your benefits are converted to retirement at age 65, do they decrease?
how does ssdi figure out the retirement benefits? if one had been on ssdi for 15 years, they haven't pain into the ss system.

Your SSDI benefits are not reduced upon age 65 (or whatever your full retirement age is depending on your date of birth). The process is rather seamless.
