Hi All,
I know I don't post a lot lately but I do check in and read and post when I have something to say I think may help.
The boards have been slower then I think I have ever seen them, hope that is a good sign.
Anyway to the point has anyone heard from Bobbi or have I missed a post maybe, it has struck me odd that she hasn't seemed to be around that I can recall since her pooch was ill.
I hope that she and her pooch are okay and if anyone knows please say so.
Thanks
Linda

I've not gone anywhere, literally, Linda.
Several weeks inside, and mostly stuck in bed, and it's real old at this point .
Mostly, it's been too painful to try sitting in front of a 'puter or using it. Feels worse than it did when I fell down the stairs and the weeks following.
I no longer have PM - thanks to so many delays and the incompetency of one the doc's staff. I think the person is just making up whatever strikes her mind... i.e., that he's "out of network" with my newer insurance. I don't believe her, since I've found a few sites online that clearly state he is a preferred provider with my insurance. I'm not going to bother arguing with the woman about it; I'll be seeing my PCP and will either be going back to him or getting a referral to another PM doc.
My pharmacist, though, has been a Godsend; she gave me a couple of teddy bears. I had thought they might be promotional items or something, but when I asked, I was told that I'm the only person who got teddy bears from her - along with pain medication :D. She also put me on the "auto-refill" or computerized system so I don't have to continue diddling with the weekly call-in stuff.
Poochlet is doing well, Linda. Actually, I think she's never been better. Not a single prob. since her surgery. Her fuzzy tummy hair has grown back and now conceals her zipper (where she had the 8-inch incision).
I have been around, reading... and now with a much better idea of how things go when there is no PM, no PT, no anything except my li'l inhalers. I don't want to depress myself and have been just trying to think about when things will be better.

Bobbi, It is good to hear from you, but sorry you are feeling so poorly! Your Pharmacist sounds like a truly wonderful person and we all need someone like that in our lives.
Happy to hear also that your puppy is doing well!
We all love ya,
Kathy

Thank you, Kathy :). I have been following the happenings in folks' lives here... just didn't want to pull anyone down with my sucky stuff going on since October.
But... I just got some good news: My PCP will be handling the PM meds., still. "As long as you see her, it's not a problem," so I was told by her assistant :D.
Poochlet is just as cute and as funny as can be. I think she has a tickle meter inside that lets her know: Time for some comedy. Then, she does something silly and I can't stop laughing.

Bobbi, it is good to see you posting again. Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well and about the problems with your PM. It is good to hear the pooch is still keeping your spirits up. I had to give my golden retriever up, thankfully my sister wanted him, because I couldn't keep up with his care; but dogs do have a sense of when we need them. Don't be a stranger as we expect to hear the whining and complaining all of us feel.

((((Bobbi))))
I'm so sorry that things have been such a mess for you.
Doesn't it seem that the life of a CP'er is never easy, it seems even when the course is smooth that we are always waiting for the wholes in the road..
However know that you are missed when not around and always in my thoughts.
I'm happy to hear that pooch is doing so well and that you got the good news that your PCP will be handeling your meds for you.
I can relate, I was without insurance for several months and still only have medicare part A and D and am trying to get B so I can go back to my Dr. it really bites.
Try to pop in once in a while so we know you are okay you have been a major player here for a long time and are missed and worried about.
Hugs,
Linda
