I have had Peripheral Neuropathy for years. I have it in both feets and occasionally in the hands. It started in 1982 and has slowly become worse.
I had a car accident abouut a year ago and since then, my symptoms are
much worse with extreme tightness in my feet and ankles. I had been on Neurontin for many years and had to quit because of dizziness. I have tried
Lyrica and that didn't help at all.

I am looking for any one with similar experiences. Any helpful ideas or suggestions would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,
My PN also started in the early 80's and very slowly progressed. Mine affects my feet, legs, somewhat in the hands and generally my entire body. Lyrica helped me back off a lot of the narcotics. Any chemical exposure in your life? Where you in Vietnam, or any of the many other places they used Agent Orange type material?

Are you by chance diabetic? With it in both hands and feet--the cause needs to be determined. You might ask about Topamax. I had far fewer side effects from it than from Neurontin
