Posting Problems

Hi JL!

There are many who are still having problems receiving their email confirmation and do not have the ability to post. It appears to be the same problem I was having last night when you manually approved my membership.

I know you were up until the wee hours of the morning working on this and we greatly appreciate all you've done and continue to do for us. But I have a feeling you will be needed much in the next couple of days until the bugs are worked out :D

Hi Pansy,

Yep, there was a glitch caused by me changing the registration options while people were registering (like changing tires on a car that was running :P).

I'm going through all the currently resgistered accounts that are not activated and will be manually activating them all.

So if you never received your activation email last nite/early this morning, no worries. You will be all set in about 20 min. :)

People who register from this point on shouldn't have this problem.

OK, as of this moment, I've manually verified all accounts. Everyone who was missing that activation email should be all set now. :)

I had to get my computer to remember me, though. When I signed on without checking the "remember me" box, I appeared in the list of online users, but continued to get "user name" in the box at the top - and no posting privileges!

I did try clearing my cookies, as sometimes that helps, but this time it didn't.

I re-registered as Wittesea and my account never got activated. I had to re-re-register as Wittesea*

So, if there are other folks who are reading who are waiting for some sort of activation - just try re-registering all over again with a new name to see if that works.
