Just do what you can do and don't sweat the small stuff. It is normal to have fear after what you have been through but you'll be OK. Good luck at work Monday and don't be scared, it's just another day! :)
I'm usually in the epilepsy forum if you ever want to stop in and just say hi. We'd love to hear from you!

There is a great bunch in the Emotional Support forum also. Best wishes and good luck!

Jeff gave you some good advice. Go slowly, and only do what you're up to doing. If you can, consider half days for awhile. If your work is physical, be very careful. If you feel dizzy or have vision issues, stop and take a break. Keep in close touch with your neurosurgeon, too.
Could I ask...what type of brain surgery was it? If it was especially complicated, ask your doctor what is and is not okay. Also, consider going to the specific forum here that you need to address needs pertinent to your condition and surgery.
I am a lifelong hydrocephalus patient who knows about surgery and recovery (although it's been awhile :)), so please feel free to write me if I can answer any questions for you. :)

I would speak to your boss and tell them you will need regular breaks and things you will be ok. Jess

Thanks i am really nervous i am asst. vice president of operations and the bank is under new owners who are expecting alot fast. i had a unruptured clipping done on my aneurysm done Christmas week. i knew something was wrong early last fall when i had some very weird and severe headaches and loss of vision. it was right frontal lobe artery. i went to check it out because I watched my mom die of hers when she was 51 and my brother died at 36 of the same illness. My mom and i were out for supper when hers went and killed her. I do have a sister who is having tests done soon and the doctors tell me to have our kids checked periodically. My oldest daughter is 31 and has migraines already so she is on it. My youngest is pregnant with her second baby so will wait. I am newly divorced so this is the first time i have been on my own so i am having some depression and panic attacks. Which the web site assures me are pretty normal. i will be watching all of you and try to learn to get around on the support sights better it takes me a while to figure it out thanks again
always hope
