Brain Tumor as a child...infertility now.

I had an arachnoid cyst when I was a child. I went into puberty early. I had my first cycle when I was nine. I'm now 23 years old. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 4 years now and have been unable to do so. We are now seeing an Reproductive Endocrinologist for help. My question is this...how common is infertility in women who suffered from these types of "tumors" as a child?

I don't know if this helps much but just a week ago I was diagnosed w/ an arachnoid cyst. I didn't have the precocious puberty as you did but when I was ready to have children I had no problems conceiving. I can only assume I had this cyst since birth as that's how they seem to develop.

Our child was just diagnosed with a lemon-sized AC that's starting to put pressure on his brain. We're contemplating the decompression surgery for him (age 7.) Since you said that you'd had an AC, I'd be very interested to know whether or not you had done the decompression surgery and if so, at what age? How did it go? How big was yours, how did you manage it? Where was it, what were your symptoms? How are you now? thanks, mareekah
