Pansy,
Who said these boys could grow up so fast? Aaron is graduating high school and Adam is graduating 8th grade this year on May 25th I think. Next year Caleb graduates high school. Boy how small or young were they when we got together how many years ago? lol We should do that again. lol

That's awesome Pansy! I wish MY Aaron could pass it. He passed the English, he's 20 points away on the math.... he will try again next week. Either way he's out of school in May. We're hoping a special CAHSEE math class he's taking will get him over the top. Congratulations to YOUR Aaron... I know how proud you are!! Very good work... AND on the first try... WAY TO GO!!!

Lisa has it right, without such a great mom, it's debatable whether Aaron could have achieved this.

WTG PANSY AND AARON!!!

Congratulations Aaron! How great that he passed the first try. Your a great Teacher and Mom Pansy.

Heather graduated from the Post Senior program in December. (she'll go through the ceremony in June) so I understand the happiness. No more IEP's and dealing with those school fools! :D

Thank you everyone, for the kind words and thoughts :)

Vicki, Congratulations to you and Heather on her graduation! Just doesn't seem like the day has come to close this chapter of their life's book. I just completed Aaron's final 504 on Tuesday. Woo Hoo! And you know, it is amazing how accommodating everyone is now that Aaron will not be their responsibility  They even added the fact that he needs a service dog for mobility.

Dori, tell your Aaron to hang in there. I think there are different levels to the CAHSEE, or at least some versions lean closer to home in the study areas. I know a young lady who failed on her first 2 attempts, significantly below the passing score, and the third time she passed with flying colors. And this young lady didn't have a tutor. So with all the hard work Aaron is doing to prepare, he will pass the CAHSEE when they finally provide one that presents the study areas he is learning. I'm sure you know that so long as he takes courses, even if they are fun electives, that he can stay in school until he is 21 or passes the CAHSEE, whichever comes first. But convincing a young adult to do that is a whole 'nother story, isn't it?

GinaMarie, yes, it has been a long time. I think we met up in 1999! Wow! How old is Noah? I think he was 2 or maybe just barely 3 when we brought all the kids together for lunch.

Thanks again, everyone! I see faces here that I haven't seen in years! It is good to "see" you. And it is nice to meet those that I have not yet met :)
