P.S.
Can I ask...
When you say that you still have some high pressure issues but they're not too terrible so you're dealing with it, does that mean you're not taking anything for it? Does it mean you can sleep lying down? Does it mean that you only occassionally have high-pressure symptoms? Finally, what do your symptoms feel like?
(Sorry for the barrage of questions ;))

Mindi:
I am still taking the Aldactone to help dry me out and reduce the pressure. It is much milder and more tolerable than Diamox.
My symptoms are more pronounced starting around 4pm and going through the night with the absolute sorse time being around 4am! I am able to sleep in the bed most nights for 4-6hrs and then need to go back to my recliner. At this point I mostly experience pressure behind my eyes as the main symptom with some throbbing of my head. It is like an outward pressure where my low pressure gives a feeling of implosion.
Hope this helps-

Hi Wobbles ... so far this is sounding really good for you! I hope the high pressure gets less each day. I also hope your incision is healing nicely this time.

Thanks, Wobbles! It helps to hear the specifics.
Interesting that your symptoms get worse around 4 pm… Do you lie down at all then? Are you more active then? Or is it just a pattern that you’ve noticed?
I really hope things keep improving for you! It sounds like you're definitely on the road to recovery!!!

It is a pattern that I noticed. I don't lie down as that would make it throb even harder....just sleep in my recliner when I need to and in bed whenever I can...even if just for a couple of hours!
I remain hopeful ....... a normal life is possible

Yes, a normal life IS possible! You are headed there! :D
I just hope and pray that your high-pressure settles down soon… It can’t be fun sleeping sitting up every night.
Do you find that your head pain increases with activity (even very minor, i.e. walking around the house, getting dressed, doing dishes, etc.)? Do you sit most of the day or are you able to do things?
Hey Wobbles,
So glad to hear that you are not leaking. Sorry you are dealing with the high pressure. Hopefully, that will subside soon! It is so nice to hear success!

Actually, getting up and moving around HELPS the high pressure settle down...something about the orthostatic chgs that happen when we stand up I think......
Yes, I am able to do quite a bit more than before repair and am slowly building stamina back to pre-leak status......
