central pontine myelinolysis -need help!

My husband was diagnosed with central pontine myelinolysis in May 2007. He cannot walk, speak or take care of himself.I need help finding treatment and therapies for him. Can any one help.

I checked the ninds link, and found that the cause is too rapid correction of sodium deficiency -- iatrogenic, in other words. This is terrible, and I am wondering what is being done to prevent this disaster from happening. Or, are they closing their eyes to it.

Breeze, it's amazing to me how you show up just when needed. I see this as a cosmic connection. I'm also very relieved to know your mother is still alive & Franky too!
