Hi all

I'm just having a moan here! I came home from the hospital (after clinicals, not after being a patient :p!) and I've felt crook most of the afternoon, with a stomach ache (around the shunt site actually) and a bit of a headache (again, not far from the shunt site) and I'm feeling quite nauseous. This problem has happened a bit in the last few years, and is often helped if I take an Anagraine, but I haven't done that yet. It may have something to do with the heat too - we are due to have five days in a row over 40 degrees - the the hottest it has been since the begining of last century ! I'm glad I'll be inside tomorrow. I think I've said here once before that I had heat stroke as a kid, and I don't really want that to happen again!

I'm going to hop in the shower then - maybe that will help!

Nat, I hope it is just the heat!
Let us know how you do.

So you're having a "heat wave" and we (southern Canada and I think Northern USA) have been/are having a "deep freeze" with the wind chills making it brutal!

If 40 degrees is heatstroke weather in Australia, then I think I need to move Down Under! I'm in Wisconsin, so it's been in the single digits and/or negatives (with windchill factor) for the last few weeks...it's MURDER on the brain I tell ya! I'll really be glad when winter's over!!

A friend of mine commented last night - "Let's just take January COMPLETELY out of the calendar....we'll have 2 months of May!" lol.....it's just sickeningly cold here!!

That's 40 degrees CELSIUS which is about 105 Fareinheit (I think!)!

Our weather is really off. It has hardly been over 30 degrees all Summer, and NOW it decides to get hot ! We shouldn't be surprised though - it almost always happens just when the kids are about to go back to school, and they went back yesterday!

And yes, Cathy, I can still remember how cold those Canadian winters are! They're not much fun! But strangely enough, I would much rather be cold than hot - I figure you can always put more clothes on, but you can't take them all off - and even if you do, it won't make much of a difference!

I think I'm glad I didn't get tickets to the tennis this year - I'm still doing clinicals!
