My father who is 67 years old recently had a 1cm colloid cyst removed. It was found by chance. He was still active and working before the surgery. It has been seven days since his surgery and he is still in the hospital. He can not move his left side and he is being fed by a feeding tube in his nose. He does not speak and is demonstating stroke like symptoms. Please tell me one of you has experienced this, and has made a full recovery. I am beginning to get frustrated because the doctor assured us that removing the cyst was necessary, but seeing my father lie there motionless and distant is making me wish I had talked him into taking his chances without the surgery.:( please I just want to here that this is something that can happen and will eventually clear up.
