Hello friends: I have just come on board and have much to share with you all. Iam an amputee just below the knew and have had anywhere from 32 to 36 surgeries before as after amputation. I currentlt go to a pain clinic for my terrible pain but it doesn't do a whole lot.I live alone all except my little 4 year old Shi Tzu "Miss Angel" She is my friend indeed. I currently have some kind of an issue on my thighs. It started just above my prosthetic limb. And it goes up to the hip and stops there. I have it on both thighs but the one on the amputated leg looks te worst. Someone who looked at it thinks it may be broken capilarries. The dematologist I went to yesterday didnot recognize it as well. He is giving me Prednisone every8 hours and I also have apply some type of creme that he aspire to. They also did a biopsey from both thighs and said it would before they would take the stitches out and make some determentation on just waht this is. I just hope it isn't. I have had rotator cuff repair on both shoulders, a coxxyegtomy done, and on that one I got a staph infection from the hospital. That caused me to have twear a Wound Vac maching that would suck out the stuff in it that needed to come out. Well I will close this but I hope we can have some good talks here and give each other some very valuable information of what may be out there. Have a good evening and I will talk to you all tomorrow
